Camera Bases

With the growing adoption of compact and flexible PTZ cameras, Bluebell has developed a range of optical transport solutions for applications where electrical connections between the camera and base unit are not practical over longer distances.

These optical systems are designed specifically for selected Sony and Panasonic PTZ cameras. Each unit matches the camera base form factor and uses the original mounting plates above and below. Available in any colour, the unit fits neatly between the wall mount and the camera, allowing it to sit discreetly within the installation.

At the base end, signals can be received either in a 19-inch rack frame supporting multiple cameras, or within a Silhouette enclosure for single camera links. The system supports transport of up to 12G video, digital AV interface, genlock, Ethernet, serial data control and PoE+ over singlemode fibre or industry standard hybrid connectors. Configurations vary depending on camera model and connector requirements.

All functionality is contained within a compact enclosure, delivering Bluebell’s established levels of reliability, build quality and long-term performance.
